Data integration & migration

Migrations that are structured, repeatable and predictable.

Extract, map, transform, validate and migrate in structured workflows, proven in global SAP and Microsoft Dynamics programs with millions of records.

Migrations fail on data, not on software.

ERP programs consolidate many legacy systems, each with its own conventions, gaps and duplicates. Every test cycle surfaces new problems, and the go-live date does not move.

Mappings kept in spreadsheets do not repeat well. You need a process that runs the same way every cycle, and that shows data quality before cutover.

What changes with DATAshaper

  • Every migration cycle runs the same, structured way
  • Validations make data quality visible before go-live
  • Less manual correction work at cutover

One structured flow.

  1. Extract

Pull data from each source system into one controlled workspace.

  2. Map

Map source fields and values to the target model.

  3. Transform

Apply the transformations, repeatably, for every cycle.

  4. Validate

Automated validations flag what would fail or harm the target.

  5. Migrate

Deliver load-ready data to the load process your program uses.

How data is loaded follows your program. In the Atlas Copco S/4HANA rollout, for example, DATAshaper loads into SAP Migration Cockpit.

Built for enterprise programs.

  • Repeatable cycles

Test cycles and the final cutover run the same, so surprises surface early.

  • Automated validations

Safeguards check the data before it reaches the target system.

  • Many sources, one target

Consolidate multiple legacy ERP systems into one global platform.

  • Multiple environments

Separate development, test and production environments for enterprise programs.

  • Focused projects too

Renson ran a bounded Material Master migration into SAP largely with its own team.

  • Proven targets

Used in programs targeting SAP, SAP S/4HANA, SuccessFactors, C4C and Microsoft Dynamics.

Migrations in practice.

Questions about migration.

Which systems do you support?

DATAshaper is proven in programs targeting SAP (including S/4HANA, SuccessFactors and C4C) and Microsoft Dynamics. Tell us about your landscape and we will discuss what fits, rather than promise a generic connector list.

Can our own team run the migration?

Yes, for focused projects. Renson carried out its Material Master migration into SAP largely by itself.

Can you do the migration work for us?

DATAshaper consultants can handle platform configuration and technical migration, as they do at Atlas Copco. Training, onboarding and specialist support are also available, and implementation partners can help.

Can you promise a weekend go-live?

No. In a handful of Atlas Copco acquisitions the business went from data on Friday to operating in SAP on Monday. Every program is different, and we will not promise that for yours.
