From acquisition to SAP operations in a single weekend.
Since 2013, the technology behind DATAshaper has supported Atlas Copco’s worldwide SAP migrations: customer centers, HR, CRM and today the S/4HANA rollout.
Various projects ongoing since 2013
A migration program that keeps running.
The technology behind DATAshaper has supported Atlas Copco’s worldwide migrations of customer centers onto SAP since 2013, alongside HR migrations to SAP SuccessFactors and CRM migrations to SAP C4C.
Acquired customer-center businesses are migrated into the existing SAP landscape as an ongoing part of the program.
From acquisition to SAP in a single weekend
In a handful of acquisitions, the acquired company’s data became available on a Friday and the business was operating in SAP on Monday.
That is not a promise for every migration. It shows what a prepared, repeatable migration process makes possible when the conditions are right.
Today: the S/4HANA rollout
DATAshaper now supports the worldwide SAP S/4HANA rollout to Atlas Copco’s product companies. Bills of materials are a central challenge, and DATAshaper loads into SAP Migration Cockpit.
Scale and reach
Individual projects often involve hundreds of thousands to millions of records. The work has taken place across Europe, the USA, South America, China and India.
